Elementary Certificate
Tea Master Level 2 - Elementary Certificate is designed for those looking to deepen their understanding of tea. This course emphasises tea tasting, explores various types of tea and their origins, and provides in-depth training in brewing techniques.
Theory

• Explore different varieties within each tea type
• Discuss flavor profiles and characteristics of popular teas
• Learn about different types of tea tree cultivars
• Focus tea sensory qualities without biases
• Explore the history of tea and current tea culture
Practical
6 hours
• Examine the relationship between tea and water
• Participate in in-depth tea brewing training using various tea wares (including glass cups, zisha clay teapots, and glassware)
• Hands-on training to brew 6 different tea types
Examination
The evaluation will consist of a closed-book exam with multiple-choice questions, along with a practical tea brewing examination.

Requirements
This qualification has no entry requirements, but criteria may vary by course provider. Completion of Level 1 is not mandatory.
